Practicing the Law

If you have some free time in the evenings and you would like to volunteer your services, why don’t you consider Collin County Teen Court?

There are three types of volunteers needed:

  1. Students ages 13-18
    1. As a student you can have the opportunity to serve as a Juror, Attorney (Defense or Prosecution), Bailiff and as a Judge. You will have the opportunity to hear, defend and try cases with those of your peers.
      1. You should be enrolled in school or a home school program
    2. This will provide great community service opportunities
    3. Looks great on college applications
    4. Hands on experience with the Judicial System
  2. Any College student majoring in Law, Criminal Justice (or any Major related to the judicial system).
    1. You can serve as a Judge in Teen Court or help train teens to be attorneys. This is the perfect experience for being in the Judicial System.
  3. Anyone who wants to help working in Teen Court.
    1. You must be at least 18 years of age.
    2. You can help with clerical experiences
    3. Fund raising opportunities
    4. Organizing teen court internships and trainings
    5. Much, Much More!
