Jurors and Visitors to the Bloomdale Courthouse

Whether you’re looking for a cup of coffee, a sandwich or a quick meal, the Collin County Courthouse Café is open for business.
Located on the lower level of the Bloomdale Courthouse, the Café offers a wide variety of breakfast (served 7:30 – 10:30) and lunch entrees (served 10:30 – 2:00), serving everything from Belgian Waffles and Eggs Benedict to Cheeseburgers, Tacos and Baked Potatoes!
Interested in lighter fare? They also offer fruit salads, yogurt and granola and a salad bar. And don’t miss Cookie Happy Hour, from 2:30 until closing. Who can resist cookies hot out of the oven?

Our Mission is to efficiently, impartially and fairly manage all cases filed
in the county courts at law. The jurisdiction is set by the state legislation.The County Courts at
Law file all misdemeanor class A & B criminal cases, class C appeals and civil law suits with
the jurisdictional limit of $500.00 - $200,000.00

CIVIL, FAMILY, & PROBATE CASE FILINGS
Please Note: We cannot accept credit cards for any case filings
in the Civil, Family, or Probate court sections at this time. However,
credit cards may still be used for Criminal case filings.

not provide any forms. For additional information, please contact
the Law Library.

The following updated fee schedule for Civil filings went into effect on January 1, 2012*:

Criminal Case Searches for cases prior to the year
2000 and Civil Case Searches for cases prior to the year 1984 must be requested
in person or by mail.
The online Case Search applications contain County Court at Law Criminal cases that were filed or completed anytime from 2000 to the present and Civil cases that were filed or completed anytime from 1984 to the present.
For Criminal case record searches for cases completed from the 1800’s to 1999 or Civil case record searches for cases completed from the 1800's to 1983, please visit or submit a written request to the County Court at Law Clerks office at 2100 Bloomdale Rd., Suite 12165, McKinney, TX 75071.
All record searches conducted at the County Court at Law Clerks office are $5.00 each. If sending a written request, please provide the following information: the individual’s complete name and date of birth, a self-addressed stamped envelope, and a check or money order for the search fee.
Payment for a record search can be made by check, money order or cash.
Searches are processed immediately and can be requested in person or by mail. We do not provide record searches by phone.

Funds Deposit Information Sheet (Attorneys Only) - For
use by attorneys, the information provided on this
form is to be used for investing registry funds into an
interest bearing
account and should be submitted with the application for
direction of deposit.
Registry Fund Withdrawal Sheet - The information provided on this form is used for withdrawing registry funds and should be submitted with the order which will be signed by the Judge.
Trust
Handling Fees - Texas Local Government Code states that when the County
Clerk is ordered to release funds from the Court Registry all transactions
processed will be assessed a trust handling fee. |
